We have an interesting selection of ferns, ideal for shady places. Planting different varieties together can create a tapestry of subtle colours and rich textures. Our ferns for dry shade usually include varieties of Phyllitis with glossy evergreen fronds and frilled edges, Dryopteris erythrosora, another evergreen with peachy bronze tints to the foliage and a range of Athyrium from the silvery “metallicum” to the soft yellowy green of “Okanum” along with the striking fronds of “Frizelliae”.
